Our second full day crossing the Drake Passage. Swell is down to 2 meters, although there are occasional 4-5 meters events that create some excitement in the dining room. Brilliant blue skies at 5 AM, gradually developing high clouds and more breeze as the day went along. Must start packing soon, but there is no sense of urgency.

The air is noticeably milder today so we must have crossed the Antarctic Convergence overnight. We're to anchor tonight about midnight, to rendezvous with the pilot for the Beagle Channel run about 2 AM.
