After a quick breakfast, we gathered up our gear and passports and said farewell to the Polar Star, her crew and expedition staff. Under sunny skies and a stiff breeze, we tromped the length of the pier, past the crippled Clelia II, through the fairly cursory Argentinian customs and caught a taxi to the airport.

An excellent trip, despite some rough seas on some of the long runs. We made every landing we attempted and enjoyed terrific weather at most. More than 11,000 photos and memories beyond counting.
