Macaronis (Eudyptes chrysolphus) are a sub-Antarctic species, with a prominent orange-yellow crest rising from the forehead, with a thick, orange bill. The Macaronis we saw were on South Georgia Island. It was a zodiac cruise only, without a landing, so all the shots are from a bumpy zodiac.
