Extreme Birding in Alaska |
The last week of May 2007 we traveled to Gambell and Nome, Alaska on a birding trip with Wilderness Birding Alaska. At the northwest corner of St. Lawrence Island, walking in the infamous pea gravel, we birded for five days followed by another two days in Nome. These photos are from that trip. Thanks to Bob Dittrick and James Huntington of Wilderness Birding Adventures for fine guiding.
