In February 2002, eleven Alaskans left a Fairbanks, Alaska winter for Darwin's islands, the Galapagos, the Enchanted Isles. For fifteen days, with a very nice lady from Connecticut, we explored a series of islands aboard the M/Y Samba. This site commemorates and celebrates that trip, and if it persuades you to visit the Galapagos, too, well, so be it.
